Chocolate cake made with KitKat® Spread
Chocolate is king when it comes to desserts with 45% of polled opting for it *.
Ingredients
Ingredients Cake:
- 200g Dark chocolate
- 100g flour all purpose
- 80g sugar
- 3g eggs
- 8g baking powder
Ingredients for the Chocolate Ganache:
- 180g cream
- 140g Chocolate
Ingredients for the filling and topping the cake:
- 160g KitKat® spread
Preparation

1Melt 150g of chocolate in the microwave, with the butter. Add the eggs, sugar and flour.

2Then, add the baking powder and the rest of the chocolate in small pieces. Mix to obtain a homogeneous paste.

3Pour into a buttered 20cm diameter mold.

4Cook at 170°C for 30 minutes

5Chocolate Ganache: Boil the cream in a saucepan and pour in several times over the chocolate. Leave the chocolate ganache in the fridge for 10 minutes before using it.

6Assembly: Cut the cake in half horizontally, spread evenly 80g of KitKat® spread on the first part of the cake, repeat the same with 80g of chocolate ganache. Arrange the second part of the chocolate cake, and once again put 80g of spread, then completely cover the cake with the rest of the chocolate ganache.
