FareShare community food network

Working with charity FareShare

For any surplus produced, Nestlé works with charity FareShare to redistribute this quality food to local charities supporting vulnerable people in the community.
In 2009, through FareShare 1st Nestlé donated food to be eaten by people at various charitable organisations, which equated to over 536,000 meals.
For surplus that wasn’t redistributed to FareShare, Nestlé UK recycled almost 95% of all materials into compost, pet bedding etc.
